World Gourmet Summit (Norwegian Seafood Brunch Featuring Veuve Clicquot) @ Capella Singapore - Numéro Deux

Welcome to Part Two of our brunch at World Gourmet Summit Norwegian Seafood Brunch, this year being held at Capella on Sentosa island.

After our very very huge spread of the best of Norway's seafood, we moved on to the finale of our World Gourmet Summit brunch: The desserts!

This is one of the largest display of desserts and sweets I have seen in recent times. And of course, lot's of diners whip out their cameras to take photos of these beautiful desserts.

To go with the free-flow Veuve Clicquot champagne, a wide variety of cheese are available to company the champagne.

Not forgetting bread, rolls...

and more breads and rolls!

One of the most attractive fruit displays is this watermelon, honeydew, rasberry and blueberry fruit skewers. This would be perfect on 4th July for America's Independence Day.

I am not sure who is responsible for which desserts, but all of their desserts were very well presented and of course they taste great too.

Italian Tiramisu served in Brandy glasses.

Crepes made on the spot.

Photobucket

Muffins and many more French baked produces. I did not try any of these baked items as I was very very full.

These were excellent. I love the rasberries inside.

The Sachertorte is one of the most famous Austrian chocolate cake. Layers of chocolate cake and cream are added. The traditional Sachertorte has a layer of apricot jam in the middle, but here the Apricot is added on top of the cake.

The Mandarin Cheesecake verrine was another memorable dessert. I like how the mandarin slices and sauce complimented the heavy creamy cheese used.

Even more cheesecakes and chocolate pastry items.

The Macarons here are excellent. They rock. The Pistachio one is my favourite. The Hazelnut was also good.

Cream pastry with almond flakes

Beautifully presented strawberry tarts with Pistachio.

One of the most attractive dessert - Lemon Panna Cotta with fruits of the forests.

Photobucket

2nd batch of Macarons after the first batch was wiped off.

I have never seen such a huge lineup of Nespresso machines at a brunch before. There was another tea company offering all of their range of tea. I believe it was Twinings.

My freshly brewed Nespresso.

This is one of the largest brunch I have ever attended for this year. Most of the food items here are of excellent quality, and it is only once a year that you get to enjoy cuisines from some of the best restaurants in Singapore all under one roof.
