Today instead of making you feel hungry, I would like to share with you a movie that recently moved me.
Titled You Are the Apple of My Eye, the film is a semi-autobiography of Taiwan novelist-turned-director Giddens Ko (九把刀), who with his group of college buddies, (not coincidentally) had a crush on the same studious girl in their class in high school days, and that all the crazy stuff that soon follows. Woven with Giddens' wicked sense of humour, the story develops very tastefully. Although in the end it is not the stereotypical happily-ever-after ending largely wished for, it does come to a tasteful closure with quite a bang. Like many put it, watching this movie makes one feel like falling in love all over again.

Enough said, I shall leave it to you to find out the rest when it is set to open in cinemas this Thursday 10 November.
Meanwhile, for some of the behind-the-scene stories, head to Giddens Ko's personal blog.
