Ma Masion @ Millenia Walk

Hello everyone, happy Thursday! Just 1 more day and the weekend will be here! For today’s lunch, since we needed to visit IRAS for work purposes, we decide to “pop by” Millenia Walk.

I have always liked Millenia Walk as it is really quiet and not bustling with people running around for errands. In Millenia Walk, you can shop leisurely and browse through items. They have a few rather interesting shops that I like to window-shop, eg. Déjà Vu Vintage selling vintage clothing and designer accessories.  But the price point is pretty steep in my opinion.

Trixilini carries super glamorous evening wear and awesome jewellery to go with their fabulous dresses. Rimowa is definitely the way to travel in style. Their latest pearl pink luggage is so, so, so tempting and yummy! Just imagine strolling into Changi’s departure hall with this piece of Barbie doll luggage!  Sadly, the price tag is so so not yummy.  The cabin size luggage is priced at $995 with 5 years warranty.

Then there is another shop call “OCTA Hotel”. OCTA HOTEL evokes the concept of an imaginary hotel in Paris’ 8th arrondissement (district) with a simple but tasteful interior, strewn with antique furniture and comfortable lighting. In this quaint setting akin to a lady’s home in Paris are small gift items, accessories and fashion apparel and bags. A small café for light meals and afternoon tea complements the setting.

Outfit for the day: Tweed Jacket, Platinum mall in Bangkok
Tank top, Banana Republic
Skirt, City Plaza
Shoes: Eliza Litz
Bag: Celine

After all that window-shopping, we proceeded to lunch!

We picked Ma Maison to be Happy Thursday’s lunch venue. The place is really small and usually short of staff, so be prepared to wait for 10-15mins during lunch time.

I selected the Tonkatsu set meal at $19.50 ++. What I didn’t like was the Tonkatsu itself.  The pork was a little gamy and too fatty for my liking. Therefore I seriously won’t recommend this dish to anyone.

Liteng ordered a Hamburger set meal at $16.50 ++ which came with a salad and soup.  I shall not elaborate on the taste as she literally devoured the whole dish so I can only safely assume that she really loved her meal.

As I was feeling rather upset, grumpy and dissatisfied, I ordered a piece of strawberry tart at $8.80 ++.  The tart was not awesome per se but it did enough to make me less grouchy about lunch.
"Key" with our table no. You have to bring this key to the cashier to pay for the meal.

A very satisfied customer
