A new love @ Beard Papa Sweets

 Love Beard Papa's cream puffs? You've got to try their Paris Brests. I adore the green tea version, which combines a fabulous matcha-infused frosting with light, donut-shaped choux pastry that guarantees a burst of cold, airy vanilla bean custard cream in every bite. The earl grey variant (above) is delicious as well. Other flavors include chocolate, coconut and hazelnut- I can't wait to try them all! (With the exception of the plain version.) 

Available at selected Beard Papa outlets such as Takashimaya and Bugis Junction at $2.50 each, or $18 for a box of eight.

For we believe that in every story there should be a sweet ending, we went on to satisfy our dessert cravings at Chip Bee Gardens after lunch at AJInoMORI.

Every time visiting Holland Village, a stroll down Jalan Merah Saga is a must-have on my itinerary. I like the rustic charm and out-of-country tranquility here, a stark contrast to the bustling streets and lively vibe of Holland Village just some 5 minutes walk away. And besides, there is this pet shop at the end of the row of shophouses where well groomed cats are free to roam the premises.







Featuring over 30 flavours on any regular day, a single scoop is priced reasonably at $3.20, and double $5.60.



Not settled with the regular scoops? Do drop by often as they come up with exotic creations from time to time. I'm excited about their Pur-Pearl Rice and Wasabi Mango flavours. And don't forget to give other ice cream beverages a try. Both affogato and milkshake sound good if you ask me.
