Kooka Café

A lazy Monday afternoon was well spent at Kooka Café, comforted by dark-roasted Arabica beans, and great company while checking our bounties from Cat Socrates.

The lady who takes your order is the same person seen busy muddling behind the counter and eventually serves your food. So patience is advised when waiting for your food and help yourself with some magazines.





If you find the café's logo somewhat familiar, probably it's because this Australian café is by the same Laurens behind the Chalk Group.

Chock Full of Beans @ Changi Village

Unknown to quite many people, there is a small cafe located right at a corner of Changi Village. A small unit, but very cosy and homely.



We are here on a rainy Sunday evening. Not much people due to the rain. Ordered the creamy Caramel Macchiato (S$5.50), and it came with a biscuit



Service was very good here, but I didn't like the chairs as it left their "marks" on my legs after sitting on it for too long.



Other than coffee, we also had the Iced French Chocolate (S$6)



What's more comforting on a rainy day than a pipping hot bowl of Vegetable Tomato Soup (S$6)



For the mains, we had this light Turkey Wrap (S$13)



But the star of the night must be this Bacon and Mango Pizza (S$21). The pizza is reshly made, and we enjoyed how the juicy and sweet mango complimented the salty bacon.



Ended our dinner with a cute piece of Chocolate Cake (S$6)
