Marble Slab Creamery (BRANCH CLOSED)

A close friend and I decided to visit Marble Slab Creamery on Christmas Eve after a hearty dinner. It was almost 10pm then, while the entire neighbourhood was almost closed for early holiday, we were more than happy that its doors still remained open then.



Upon entering the place, a young lady greeted us with a wide smile. We immediately made ourselves comfortable with the sofa chairs in a cozy corner.

Then it came the moment of choice... With all 28 flavours waving at me, can I say I want them all? Undecisive and fickle I was, the lady was patient enough to let us sample almost all the flavours. How nice of her....



My pick was Double Dark Chocolate. Trust me, it's even richer than real dark chocolate and yet sweet enough to balance the bitter taste of dark chocolate. I regretted not getting a double scoop. Try their exclusive falvours like Vallina Cinnamon and Birthday Cake too.



While some may argue that Marble Slab is a copycat of Island Creamery, the former does stand out in a way. As its neighbour attracts mostly youngsters who love the lively vibe, Marble Slab on contrary provides a peaceful and cozy ambience for one to tuck into their gourmet ice cream and enjoy quality company of close friends and loved ones.
