I was thrilled when I first learned about this new coffee hangout in Kampung Bahru from the good folks behind Smitten last week.
Located just a few doors away from Highlander Coffee, this one-week-old new comer has fast become the most talked-about joint among the local specialty-coffee community. Reason being? The owner behind the brew counter is none other than our 2-time winner of Singapore National Barista Championship Ryan Kieran Tan (formerly from Papa Palheta).
In the hoppers was Papa Palheta's flagship Terra Firma blend. Needless to say, my latte ($4.9) pulled by our champion barista was nothing short of excellence. It was a bright cup of nutty goodness, well balanced with a smoky finish.
I also tried a drink on the menu called Magic ($4.9), which was actually two shots of Ristretto topped with foamed milk in a 6oz cup. Very strong with bold flavours.
Decent coffee aside, I simply adore the mismatching colours of their ACF cups and saucers.

Inside the chiller display, we spotted some pretty-looking thing (home-made artisan yogurt). There are also other yummy pastries and some well-thought-out non-coffee beverages on the menu.
Don't you just love the amount of wood here?

I received tip-off that one of the table tops was actually crafted from the wooden crate that came with their coffee machine. Hmmm... This one looks suspicious.
