Jang Won @ Mosque Street

It's a Sat Night and we had craving for Korean BBQ, so we headed down to China Town to try a Korean restaurant that Nick say is nice. But....the restaurant is super crowded and the waiting list had more then 10 people ahead of us. Feeling hungry and lazy to wait, we headed to a Korean resaturant opposite which look quite empty to satisfy our craving.

Appetiser (FOC) , The kimchi , potato and cucumber is nice.

Kim Chi Soup ($14), served boiling hot...

BBQ Pork Belly ($19) , Lettuce ($3.50) , you can choose to have it bbq in front of you or they can bbq at the kitchen for you.

Korean Rice Cake ($11.50), The rice cake is delicious, must order in this restaurant.

There is free small dessert, sugar rice pop , served after your dinner which we forgot to take photo..lolz

Total Damage : $55.55 (including two rice not shown in the photo $2.50)

Verdict : We were initally quite concern that the food is not nice as the resaturant is quite empty compare to the opposite one. Turnout that the food here is really not bad. I guess the restaurant is empty because of the atmosphere here...it is not lively as the boss had no expression on his face thou he is polite and the lady boss is sulking whole night. The philipino waitress however perform better then her boss, she is smiley whole night. Food and atmosphere is equally important in a restaurant, as resturant is not the same as food court.

Will I revisit this restaurant : Don't think so.

Verdict : 3/5
