Sakon Thai

These days it is always raining...and rainy days make ones feel like eating Tom Yum. Lazy to travel far and  lazy to que up for the Thai food at Kovan...which is cheap and good ...will blog about it other day...I decided to try Sakon Thai...I drove past this restaurant quite often but had not tried out yet.

The restaurant is decorated with wood furniture.....back to hometown Thailand feel...homely...

Thai Ice Tea ($2.50) & Lime Juice ($2.50)

For appetiser, we order a mixed platter which come with thai fish cake, prawn fritters and fried spring roll ($7) ... Thai Fish Cake is nice..the rest of the item is abit too oily for my liking...

Salted Egg Fried rice ($5.50) ..with chili...The sallted fried rice can be shared among two people if you are ordering side dishes...The fried rice is power...simply delicious...must order if you are here...

Basil Pork ($8.50).....very good to go with rice....

Red Tom Yum Seafood Soup ($6.90) ..can be shared among two person. Warning : the tom yum soup here is not suitable for those who are still chili noob....it is super spicy ...shiok lah....chili expert go for it...!

Don't be fool by the colour...

Thai Style Kai Lan ($6) .....I would recomend you to order Thai Style Kang Kong...I order that when I go back the 2nd time...it is much better....

Red Ruby ($3.50)...

Total Damage : $45.35

Will I visit this place again? ...Of Coz!! The food is nice and the price is reasonable.

Verdict : 4.5/ 5
